U.S. Department of Energy - National Energy Technology Laboratory’s Science-informed Machine Learning to Accelerate Real Time Decisions in the Subsurface (SMART) Visualization Platform Prize Challenge

Phase 1 Winner 2021

The team successfully designed and developed an innovative tailor made pre-production prototype solution from the ground up to solve many of the current and future challenges of visualizing the subsurface environment. The flexibility provided by the design and architecture of the Red Volta platform enables a scalable, multi-user, and cross-platform solution. The platform was designed with flexibility and ease of use in mind ensuring a pleasant user experience and enabled both expert and non-expert decision makers and engineers to analyze, interact with, and acquire a deeper understanding of subsurface data.

U.S. Navy’s Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft Program Office (PMA-290) SSD Challenge

1st Place Winner 2020

The team designed and developed a self-contained tool that assessed the health of Solid-State Drives to measure performance and predict potential failures in a way that does not disrupt the data on the drive or introduce new forms of drive wear. The award-winning dashboard tool included data management visualization capabilities to view and manage the historical health data of individual SSDs to support operational and maintenance decisions.
